Welcome to Emerging Technologies for Teaching & Learning, a daily weblog created to assist faculty and students in using emerging technologies efficiently and effectively for learning. I’ve created this blog for two reasons: (1) to help me think more about new technologies and how to use them for teaching and learning and (2) to provide useful information that can be used by faculty and students at Boise State University. One of my most important jobs here at Academic Technologies is to assist faculty in effectively and efficiently integrating technology into teaching and learning. With the rapid advancement of technology tools, it ain’t that easy. But it sure is a lot of fun. This blog is a great idea. Thanks for starting it. Are you planning any mechanisms for having readers suggest topics & technologies that you might address (in addition to these comments)? It might be nice to have a way of gauging interest in various topics so that the ones of most interest could be covered. ‘Just a thought
I was thinking that it would be great to have contributors/participants in this blog, who could simply submit tech ideas, new stuff they are learning/doing. How about you to start???
